Availably Privacy Policy

Availably is a browser extension built by JFLX.CLOUD that turns a user’s Google Calendar availability into a formatted summary the user can copy.

Information Availably accesses

With the user’s explicit permission, Availably accesses free/busy time ranges from the user’s primary Google Calendar. The extension does not request or receive calendar event titles, descriptions, attendees, locations, or attachments.

Availably also stores the user’s extension preferences, such as working hours, meeting length, buffers, weekend preference, and message introduction, using Chrome’s synchronized extension storage.

How information is used

Free/busy time ranges are used only to calculate open availability requested by the user. Processing occurs locally inside the extension. Calendar information is not stored by JFLX.CLOUD, sent to a JFLX.CLOUD server, sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties.

User preferences are used only to provide the extension’s settings and availability-formatting features.

Data retention and deletion

Availably does not retain Google Calendar information. Calendar information exists temporarily in extension memory while the popup is open. Users can remove locally synchronized preferences by uninstalling the extension or clearing its extension data, and can revoke Google access from their Google Account permissions.

Google API Limited Use

Availably’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security

Calendar requests are sent directly from the extension to Google’s API over HTTPS. Availably does not operate an intermediary calendar-data server.

Changes

Material changes to these practices will be disclosed through an updated policy and, when required, within the extension.
